Family Dentist
We require that the patient's teeth be cleaned and all cavities filled before orthodontic treatment begins. We require the patient to continue seeing their family dentist every six months for cleaning and cavity check during the entire orthodontic treatment.

Dental Checkups
Of course, regular dental checkups are essential, yet many people do not receive proper dental care while undergoing orthodontic treatment. It is very important that you continue to see your family dentist at regular intervals.

Adult Patients
Much of our practice includes adults. Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age. While cessation of growth in the face and jaws may be a limitation, the tissues involved in the movement of teeth are the same in adults as in children. We understand the adult patient's concern about how braces will affect his or her appearance and function. Consequently, we offer clear braces and smaller, bonded braces as alternatives.

Sterilization and Infection Control
A great deal of our time and effort has gone into developing state-of-the-art infection control. Every precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We welcome the opportunity to explain our sterilization procedures to you.
